How many times have you tried to “conquer your fear” only to have it show up again the next morning?

I’ve been there. I already told you. Our minds often run an old script. It was written years ago when we felt small or rejected. We aren’t reacting to the present; we’re reacting to our history. Until we question those old, rusty beliefs, we’re just running in circles.
So, I want to ask you something today that might be a bit uncomfortable:
How have underlying beliefs or past experiences shaped the fears you currently face?
PS: This question is part of my self – discovery questions book The 365Q Journey: Fear. Links below.

Thank you for naming this so honestly. What stayed with me is the shift from “conquering fear” to questioning the story that keeps replaying beneath it. Often those old beliefs didn’t form out of weakness, but out of a need to survive something earlier. I find myself wondering how the work changes when fear is approached not as an enemy to defeat, but as a signal asking to be understood—at its own pace.

Livora, thank you for your comment! To answer your question, I believe that approaching fear as a signal will transform the process into a source of energy instead of a source of frustration and procrastination.
