We talk about “work-life balance” as if it’s a math equation. We think we can finally solve it if we just buy the right planner. We treat burnout like a flu we can avoid by drinking more green juice or taking a weekend off.
But let’s be real: I’ve spent years trying to balance the scale. Yet, I only feel like I’m failing at everything at once. Most advice tells you to “work harder” or “relax more.” Still, they never explain how to handle the noise inside your own head. This noise keeps you working even when you’re exhausted. We push ourselves until the engine smokes. Then we wonder why we can’t just “think” our way back to being happy.

If change comes from within, then balance has to start there, too. It’s not about the hours on the clock; it’s about the perspective we bring to them.
So, I’m curious about your strategy:
How do you plan on achieving and maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and how can you prevent burnout?

I can’t agree more with this. I struggle so bad trying not to burn out. But it’s not easy 😦
